1. Who we are
Ephrontech LLC (“Ephrontech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a technology services firm providing cloud infrastructure, blockchain, software engineering, and omni-channel communication solutions. This Privacy Policy applies to www.ephrontech.com (the “Site”) and to personal information we handle in the course of operating our business.
In most of our engagements we act as a service provider / data processor on behalf of our business customers. When we process personal information under a customer’s instructions, that customer is the controller of the data, and our handling of it is governed by our agreement with them (including our Data Processing Agreement). This Policy describes the information we handle as a business in our own right (for example, website visitors and prospective customers).
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information you provide when you email us or request information — such as your name, email address, company, and the contents of your message.
- Usage and device information automatically collected when you visit the Site — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, gathered through standard server logs and, where applicable, analytics tools.
- Customer data that our business customers route through our services. We process this data only as a service provider, under the customer’s instructions and our contract with them.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide requested information;
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve our Site and services;
- Communicate with current and prospective customers about our services;
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers / sub-processors who perform services on our behalf (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Our primary infrastructure provider is Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ephrontech, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer data processed on behalf of a customer is retained and deleted in accordance with our agreement with that customer.
6. Data security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and least-privilege practices. You can learn more on our Security & Trust page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information and may opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
EEA / UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where we act as a controller, our lawful bases for processing include your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, and compliance with legal obligations. You may have the right to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Where we act as a processor, please direct requests to the controller (our customer), and we will assist them as required.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@ephrontech.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers of personal information across borders.
9. Cookies and analytics
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and to understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.
